    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes it do to emv, you need to insert chip (dip) the card, don't use NFC (tap) if you want to populate the tab name.&amp;nbsp; (this is a card limitation)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Pre Authorization Isn't Saving Guest Name</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have 3 registers. 2 Work just fine when starting a tab. One of them, you can preauthorize and start a tab but a name does not record on the tab.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't seem to figure this out. Does it have to do with enabling EMV?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We just have a swipe feature on the computers, so dip isn't able to start a tab. Swiping is the only option.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Oh ok, thought you might be using the new emv pre-authorization. It may just be a dirty card reader, if you have any card cleaner wipes give that a try.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
