Has anyone in this community activated Soundhound automated phone order acceptance? We have never, ever, taken phone orders in 7 years (even through covid) but the Soundhound demo looks crazy impressive. We've never taken phone orders to focus our staff on in-person guests, but this solution seems to meet our focused staff criteria and possibly add a sales channel. Let me know if you have experience with Soundhound and is it as good in real life than the demo shows. Thank you

just recently signed up and getting ready for the onboarding process. Service will take about 3-4 weeks to set up. So I don't have any user experience to share at the moment. In the meantime, ff you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

We have been using SoundHound for approximately 2 months. It definitely has some limitations. It "works" as advertised but you will have to make sure you can think of every modifier that a customer can throw at it. For example we offer a Caesar Salad and chicken is an optional modifier. If a customer calls and tries to order a Chicken Caesar Salad the automated service responds with there is no Chicken Caesar Salad. If the customer orders a Caesar Salad add Grilled Chicken it will work. If you have a simple menu or a lot of time to invest into teaching the AI then it is a very handy addition.
