POS - Guest Feedback

We’ve overhauled Guest Feedback, introducing AI feedback insights, a streamlined inbox, and more — all at no additional cost. The new and improved Guest Feedback empowers you to consolidate scattered feedback, analyze customer sentiment, spot trends, identify priority issues, and respond efficiently – all within a single dashboard. Toast Tables - Time-based Table Blocking

Time-based table blocking allows restaurants in need of agile changes to their availability to make granular updates. Previously, if changes were needed to table availability, changes would have to be made for an entire day. Now, changes can be made at the table, dining area, and 15-minute level. Example: The home team wins the big game and a rush of customers comes in, requiring the restaurant to turn off online availability on their patio for a few hours.

Online Ordering - SmartQuote

SmartQuote is a new quote time strategy that leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automatically calculate and estimate prep times based on your restaurant’s historical data. SmartQuote can help to optimize your order operations, improve your kitchen’s efficiency, and improve the guest experience. Possible benefits of using SmartQuote include: 

  • Help reduce the guest and delivery driver wait time 
  • Help reduce occurrences of cold food and increase guest happiness 
  • Improve quote time accuracy 
  • Increase kitchen productivity and efficiency

Individual results will vary. 

Note: SmartQuote requires Digital Storefront Suite and at least 1 KDS online and operational at least 30 days, with at least 10 orders per day for 30 days, and at least 500 fulfilled orders.

Test Kitchen - Upsell Manager

Toast’s Upsells feature provides restaurants with a new innovative method to help increase check revenue by setting up and customizing upsells across sales channels. By enabling the Upsells feature, you’ll be able to: 

  • Help drive your daily restaurant upsell revenue 
  • Enhance the guest experience with customized menu suggestions 
  • Improve the utilization of menu items and standing inventory 

 Toast’s Upsells feature prompts servers for upsell opportunities and enhances the guest’s dining experience leaving them feeling valued and likely to repeat visits to your restaurant.

Note: The release of Upsell Manager is a phased rollout. Over the course of the rollout, Toast will iterate on and improve on the Upsells feature by collecting and gathering customer feedback and insights. Your early adoption and feedback will help us refine Upsells and better align it to customers’ evolving and shifting needs.
