I hope this message finds you well. We’ve identified a discrepancy in our Toast system configuration that we’d like to address regarding our Banquet section reporting and invoice settings.
Currently, our Banquet revenue center does not reflect any tax accumulation or service fees / gratuity charges, whereas our Terrace section correctly displays the following breakdown:
Net Sales
Tax (7.25%)
Tips
Total Amount
In contrast, Banquet shows:
Net Sales: $610.00
Gratuity: $0.00
Tax: $0.00
Tips: $0.00
Total Amount: $610.00
To ensure consistency and compliance, we kindly request the following updates to our Banquet configuration:
Tax Application: Please apply a 7.25% tax rate to all Banquet sales and ensure it is reflected in both the reporting and invoice breakdowns.
Gratuity/Service Fee: We would like a 22% automatic gratuity to be applied to all Banquet orders. This should be visible on the invoice and included in the daily revenue summary.
Reporting Accuracy: Please confirm that these changes will be reflected in our daily sales reports and revenue summaries for the Banquet section, similar to how they appear for Terrace.
If any additional steps are required on our end to implement these changes, please let us know. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain accurate and transparent reporting across all revenue centers.
