It does not currently seem possible to create permission sets/jobs, without exposing those jobs to the employee at clock in.
As currently implemented, an employee can arbitrarally select a job at clock in.
In order to maintain mostly accurate reporting with regards to labor, that option exsposure, requires maintaining the override payrate for every employee for every job assigned to them.
This results in employees clocking in at $0.00 or incorrect rate jobs assignments, commonly, even with good administrative system to catch mistakes.
This is mostly a feature request to seperate wages and permissions, or at a minimum limit the jobs available to employees at clock in if permissions can not be seperated from jobs structurally.
The current structure encourages job creep, and very quickly no one would really know which job has the permission they are looking for and results in the shotgun approach were people just click everything for everyone. Which then amplifies the wage rate issue.
