I run a sandwich shoppe and would like to run two sandwich prep lines during my lunch hour. I want to split the orders based on Dining Option (Dine In goes to line #1, Online/Call-in goes to line #2). I can make this split on the KDS under the device setup. How do I split the printing (I have kitchen receipt printers at each sandwich line)?
We're only running the two lines during busy times, so I'm looking for "temporary" solutions that we revert back to running only one sandwich line when the busy time is over.

You would use item routing for this https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Print-Routing-by-Dining-Option
To revert back you could set the backup printer for prep station being rerouted to, to be the printer of the prep station that it was rerouted from and just turn it off when you don't want to use it, then it will reroute back to the original prep station.
