All good stuff. What we CA operators really need is a solution for automatic gratuities and service charges. We currently can't use them for large parties or events because they must be processed as wages rather than tips and Toast Payroll doesn't have the means to do that.
If Toast Tips Manager can manage tips, why can't Toast Payroll apply the same waterfall logic for Auto gratuities and service charges but then apply the employee specific prorated amount as wages?
We've been asking for this product update for t he longest time. Would love to see this feature requested implemented. It would be a huge win for both employees and the operators.

The Quickbooks sync is amazing. I just set it up for 6 locations in 30 minutes.
