Applications are now open for the 2026 Toast Changemakers Program. E
very year we award $10,000 grants to 15 US restaurants doing meaningful work to fight food insecurity, and it's some of the clearest proof we've seen that restaurants are built for busy. These operators run full dining rooms, tight margins, and long shifts, and they still find a way to use their kitchens, their vendor relationships, and their staff to solve problems in their own communities.
If you or a restaurant you know has an effort like this in place, take a look:
- Open to all US restaurants, not just Toast customers
- Must be independent, open 6+ months, $3M or less revenue per location
- Applications due October 1, 2026
- Takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete
Recipients will be notified in November.
