Hey Toast Community 👋
The Toast PR and Marketing teams are looking for restaurants to feature in upcoming media opportunities and stories on the Toast website!
Recently, we worked with BadaBing Wings and Mighty Quinn’s BBQ for a feature in QSR on how they got ready for Super Bowl, and we set up Rreal Tacos and Georgia Boy for conversations on tipping that were included in USA Today.
Our team is currently looking to source stories for March Madness - is this a big moment for your restaurant? Are you running any unique events or specials? We want to hear from you! Reach out to media@toasttab.com with a line or two about what you’re planning at your restaurant and we’ll do our part to get the word out!

Hi Jenni,
I would like to suggest a new area of focus for Toast: featuring restauranteurs who are emerging from disasters and natural catastrophes.
This would be a great way for Toast to support its partners by elevating awareness of restaurants that are rising above adversity, shining a light on communities that need global attention, and illustrating how Toast can help businesses run more effectively in times of crisis.
I'm currently consulting in Lahaina, Maui, helping businesses to rebuild after the fire storm. One of my clients, Taverna, recently moved to Toast POS at the beginning of the year. They could be an example of a restaurant that would benefit from having their story told.
Immediately following the fire, the owner of Taverna, who has been in the restaurant industry her entire life, went down to the restaurant and opened up her barbecue to start cooking for anyone and everyone who was in the area or in need. She continued doing this until they literally ran out of food and aid workers were able to arrive to the island.
Sharon, the general manager, and one of the sous chefs were the only people who were actually able to get to the restaurant during this time. They cooked up over $50,000 worth of food in the days following the disaster.
Taverna is now rebuilding and coming back online. They're using Toast to keep accurate reports and manipulate their business during these uncertain and evolutionary times.
I believe that there is a great opportunity to highlight restaurant partners who are overcoming adversity and feature them on a monthly basis. This would be a win-win for everyone involved. Toast would be able to showcase its commitment to supporting its partners, restauranteurs would get the exposure they deserve, and communities would benefit from having their stories told.
I'm happy to discuss this further with you if you would like
Much Appreciated
