At Toast, we’re passionate about enriching the food experience for all — and that includes helping those facing food insecurity. The negative impacts of hunger and food insecurity are profound, but we can make a meaningful difference when the right resources come together. Over the next five years, we are committing $5 million toward hunger relief efforts globally, starting with a partnership with No Kid Hungry to help combat childhood hunger in the United States. As a customer, you can partner with us to help fight hunger this summer, here is how:
- Refer & Feed: For every referral submitted during our Summer Referral Campaign, Toast will donate $5 to No Kid Hungry (up to $25,000) to help provide meals for kids during the hungriest time of the year. Submit your referrals here
- Fundraise with Toast: During the month of July, through the Toast Fundraising product, Toast.org is matching* restaurant guest contributions to No Kid Hungry to help the fight against childhood hunger. Toast will match all funds raised through this feature (up to $50,000), making it easy for both you and your customers to support children facing hunger. Learn how to set up Fundraising here
- Spread the Word: Share this initiative with your networks so we can leverage the power of the restaurant community to help fight summer hunger. Repost our Instagram or LinkedIn post to spread the word.
* Matching contributions will be made through Toast.Org’s Donor Advised Fund at Fidelity Charitable and will be paid by a grant recommended by Toast.Org. Fidelity Charitable retains final authority to issue all grants made pursuant to recommendations by Toast.org. These funds are subject to a 2.75% disbursement fee by Benevity that will be deducted from the fundraising total for your campaign. Toast Fundraising is not currently available to California-based restaurants as we work on product updates.
