Is anyone else having issues with the way tips are collected for Toast's program, delivery by DoorDash? We use on register/employee name to ring all orders..."Cashier." Well when we pull the sales (and tips) at the end of the day, we pull out cash and tip all our staff based on that number. Yikes! We now know it INCLUDES the tips that we did NOT collect for our staff, but will, in fact, have to pay out to DoorDash drivers when DoorDash bills us for delivering our food. Why on earth, didn't Toast think this through and have those tips on a separate line? I mean, it can clearly see that the dining option is "delivery by doordash"!!
Anyone have a solution for this?

If you are using a single user to ring all sales, why would you be using sales summary instead of the shift review for that user to determine tip out? I don't use TDS but it is clearly stated that you collect the tips and will be invoiced later as well as that a specific door dash dining option and employee is generated for reporting.

It seems Toast actually thought about it and there is line on Z-report that tells you how much tip should be collected for Driver.
