I would try clearing your web browser cookies and cache, if you are not familiar with doing that, let me know what web browser you are using I can give instructions.

it says SUNMI is the manufacturer and Android version 9...does that help?

Oh, you are doing it from the POS? Could you maybe share a picture of where you are and where you are seeing the black screen?
