using toast go just as a credit card terminal

Hi.  Wondering if toast go hand held's can be used just as a credit card terminal?  For example we would still use our old school registers and have a hand held next to each register to just run credit cards at the bar. 

So if someone orders 4 beers that costs $20 for example and gives us a credit card, how can we just run the card for $20 total?  Without hitting itemized items?

This is a feature request as there is no way to limit handhelds to credit payments only. However, you can purchase a Toast tap (on the counter) reader.
