Toast Tables - Undo marking a table available or dirty
With this new update, if a host accidentally marks a seated table as available or dirty, they’ll now have the option to undo this and restore the party on the table in its previous state. Undoing is available for 30 seconds and can be done via a small notification on the bottom of the screen or by tapping directly on the table.

Toast Tables - Seat walk-ins directly on ordered tables
You can now seat walk-ins directly on tables with POS orders, but no party is assigned. This follows our existing merge order functionality for seating reservations and waitlist bookings on tables with POS orders.

Toast Tables - See guests’ online wait time
Restaurants using Toast Tables will now see a live preview of guests’ online wait time when adding them to the waitlist or looking at a waitlist booking’s details. This reflects the time range the guest sees via the link texted to them when they join the waitlist.

Toast Tables - Start new shifts for servers
You can now start new shifts for servers. Starting a new shift will reset their cover and table counts to zero, ensuring equitable distribution for server rotations if a server is working back-to-back shifts.

Catering and Events - Cutoff times by business date
You can now set a cutoff time for takeout and delivery, determining the deadline for guests to submit catering online orders.
Catering and Events - Editing tax exemption
You can now edit the tax exemption status of an order in open and paid states. You can also add or remove the tax ID on an open or paid order.
Catering and Events - Adjust how item minimums are calculated
You can now choose if you want modifiers to be considered as part of your minimum item count on an order. Find this setting under 'Add min/max'.
To allow items with different modifiers to count toward the minimum (e.g., boxed lunch options), leave it as checked.
To ensure that modifiers must all be the same to count toward the minimum (e.g., for buffets sold per person), uncheck the box.
Toast Catering and Events - Customize tip settings
Restaurants using Toast Catering and Events can now customize their tip settings separately for takeout and delivery. There's the ability to turn off tipping, set custom percentages, and set a default tip, which will be pre-selected at checkout.
Toast Integration Partners - TipHaus
Toast is now integrated with TipHaus, a restaurant management solution that automates tip calculations. Automate tips, daily payments, and custom payroll reports effortlessly. Set your tip structure once, and TipHaus will handle the rest.

Incorrect; updates to Toast Tables are regarded kindly and expected by most everyone using the service. It's still a new service and I appreciate these updates greatly.
