Employee clock in/out via the toast app?

Good morning! 

I have been told that our employees can clock in/out via the Toast app. However, I have not been able to locate/verify this action. I have only used the KDS/POS hand held for this. Can any one give insight?  Thanks

On the app if you go to the Team tile/ tap any employee/ then edit shift
