Number of an item ordered per day

Lots of reports.

Where is the report that will show a the volume of a specific item?  I would like to be able to see how many of x we have sold on each day of the week.  It would be great to be able to run that report over  a month of sales.  Does this exist?

It looks like it reflects a single day of sales.  I am trying to get change over time establish pars.  I would like to see the sales of item X were over the last few weeks on each day of the week so that we can update our pars going into the summer.  

I was able to download it and do some Excel work but I figured it would be a basic report to run in Toast if I could find the right spot

I'm unsure if Toast has the report you're looking for. We provide the option to export the reports as you have done to get this information. I'll reach out to my team and keep you informed!
