New to Toast catering, but we have had several issues already! The catering sometimes shows up on POS and sometimes doesn’t. We had one with a service charge (service charge for caterer) that did not show up either. It was assigned to a generic to go employee. Never showed up on shift review. Took hours of tech support to fix. Tech support said it shows up when they pay not when the order is scheduled. That doesn’t make sense. Why would you want a future catering like a wedding go thru to POS with grats months ahead? Anyway, it still didn’t make sense- I closed the night before and it was also not on shift review. I transferred it to me- didn’t help. So support made me clock out several shifts and made me do new shift reviews.
Does anyone use Toast Catering? Where do catering tips and service charges show up and when? I have had some show up, and some not show up. Both service charge for caterer and actual tips that guest added when paying. Help!
