8/16 Service Disruption

Hi everyone,

We are aware of an issue affecting an older generation of devices, Elo V1s. These devices may be experiencing issues with service disruptions and difficulty syncing. We do not suggest continuing to take payments on these devices.

Our records indicate that this Elo V1 is your sole device. Please stop taking payments on your device immediately, and do not turn it off. 

We are continuing to investigate the issue and will keep you updated as we work towards resolution.

UPDATE: 

The incident with your Elo V1 device(s) has been resolved and Toast Systems have returned to normal. We understand the severity of this disruption and will continue to investigate the impact. Now that you’re back online, we recommend taking these recovery steps to ensure minimal disruption in your restaurant.

If you took orders outside of the POS, we recommend that you retroactively enter those orders to ensure all sales are reflected.
