There have been several discussions regarding credit card charging across different threads. To simplify things, I propose creating a post where all credit card charging-related information can be consolidated. This will make it easier for us to provide the correct team with feedback when necessary.

What is Surcharging?
Credit Card Surcharging beta product offered by Toast allows you to automatically surcharge in eligible U.S. states to help offset the cost of your credit card processing fees. 

If you are interested in this product and you do not have access, you can sign up for the waitlist here. It is worth noting not all customers will be eligible. 

"Please note, eligibility for the Credit Card Surcharging product may depend on your location, whether you have a direct processing relationship with a card brand, your volume, or other factors. Ineligible customers may not be notified when the product becomes available."

Yes I'm on the waitlist but would like some sort of time frame.  I really like toast and don't want to change and you would think toast could give more info to when it will be available??

Hey @Rusty-Pelican, I'll try my best to obtain a timeline for you. However, the information I have is limited. In case I manage to get a timeframe, please note that it may not be guaranteed and there might be delays.

Yes please get us some type of time frame, a month, 6 months, or 2 years. Anything will help us decide what we need to do.

Hey @Rusty-Pelican , I was told that this feature will be available to waitlist in late Q2 (May -June) tentatively. No information was given about when it will be live.
