Payout Overview

Hi, I'm new to reading the daily reports, and I'm not seeing how the Card Payments number that is on the Payout Overview is derived. It doesn't match the number that is on the daily Sales Summary. What am I doing wrong?

Could be any number of things given I’m not sure exactly which numbers you’re referring to in the sales report. Difference could be in sales taxes, merchant fees, withholdings (hardware leases, other borrowing with Toast). Also, payouts are usually a couple days delayed from the sales day, so make sure you’re comparing the sales day with the correct payout for that day.

Look at the transaction range on your payout overview and even specific transactions. Depending on Time of Day Credit card transactions might appear in separate batches
