Pre Modifiers

We have pre modifier

no,add,extra,on side

No doesnt charge

add charges

extra charges

on side is set not to charge.....but this is the issue.

When we have a item that includes jalapenos and tomato I can't have the ON SIDE charge due to lettuce and jalapenos are include, (even though jalapenos are $1 typically)  But then if they want to add mushrooms ON SIDE, it is not charging for this item beauce ON SIDE is set to no charge

I understand I can create different modifier groups for every single item on our menu but i am trying to not have 7 different jalapenos in our system (for inventory purposes)

Does anyone have a different way?

Is mushroom included in this item? If not and it will cost extra to add mushroom, just set a price to mushroom. Remove "no" pre-mod, set pricing method to "no additional charge",  and set ingredients that are included as default modifiers. And add a second modifier group for ingredients that are not included but can be added to the item.

There could be a better approach to it but feel free to ask if you have any questions or there is a certain way you want your item and mods displayed.

You can enable substitution pricing combined with default modifiers. let me know if you need help with it. Check out some of the salads at here to get a better understanding

Have you tried multiply price in the pre mod section?

You can limit mods to only add one mod, and create another mod group(like sandwich upgrades) to add anything else to the item.
