turning on Pre-Authorization

I'm new to Toast. I'm trying to turn on Pre-Authorization for credit cards.  The steps in the online help say to...

• Payments > Payment methods > Payment options.
• Scroll to the Credit section. Select Yes to Enable Credit Card Pre-Authorization 

In that section I do not see anything that deals with pre-authorizations.  I see Signature Threshold, Print Receipt Threshold, and a section on Digital Receipt Options.  

Can anyone help me?
