We just finished our Door Dash integration. We are hoping that error charges will somehow push as well. Is this something that happens?
Also, we are still receiving orders on the tablet, and have to approve them/mark ready/etc, through the tablet. Is there something I am missing on this? I’m worried that if I get rid of the tablets, we will lose that functionality. Unfortunately, from what I’ve been able to find, the help articles are pretty slim.

So only things that the doordash integration does are 1) to push orders placed on DD platform to your Toast system so your staff don’t need to manually ring up orders and reduce human error, and 2) update the item availability in real time.
Noted that this is one way communication, meaning your Toast system does not talk Doordash except for menu item availability changes. So you still need to mark orders ready on the DD tablet, you will need the tablet to adjust/change order (changes won’t reflect on Toast after initial push), and you won’t get error charge notification on Toast.
So I would recommend that you still keep the tablet around and it’s faster to communicate with DD through the chat in the DD app in case of anything happens.

Thanks for the info! We are still seeing a few weird things, but I’m guessing it is learning more than anything. Will definitely heed the advice though!
