PLEASE HELP! 🙂 Ive been trying to find a hotspot to use in my food truck to get my toast system up and running and each one ive bought so far the ethernet port does not work so im not able to connect to the internet.

If anyone owns a food truck that uses Toast system for payments please let me know what hotspot you use! It would be extremely helpful Im tired of buying hotspots just to discover the ethernet doesnt work and end up returning it.

Ok, just a simple LTE modem like this should work fine, just need a data plan and a nano sim from whatever provider you think would work best in your area. https://a.co/d/gbsx1b1

Great, let me know if you have any issues, should be pretty straightforward, toughest part is usually getting the SIM itself activated. Just be sure to use the LAN port on the LTE modem not the WAN (that is for a backup internet configuration), and connect that to the WAN port of the Toast router.

Did you get the mobile hotspot?  Any issues, what product would you recommend?  We cater off-site bars and wanted to use either Toast Flex or the hand held device.

There is a SIM card slot on the Toast router.  Can I get a SIM card from my cell phone carrier with a data plan and use that for internet access?  Or does it have to be a separate hotspot/5G modem?

Hello, this is a great question! The Toast (Pronto) router does not currently support cellular connectivity.
