ONLINE ORDERING UI OPTIONS

I was wondering if there is a way to select "Online orders only" when you change UI settings instead of the changes carrying it across to order screen here at the restaurant? I've had Online orders that used the "Special Request" button for things that cost and I'd rather disable the "Special Request" button altogether, but for Online Ordering only.

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly. But there is a way to disable special request for online order. Go to "takeout & delivery" > scroll down to "online ordering" under "Availability" > scroll all the way to to bottom. Find special requests and toggle it off.
I don't think you can turn off special request for in store devices such as your toast terminal and handheld. I read it somewhere before that there is a way to track on special requests. @rcmck might be able to share more information on that.

That is how you turn it off for online ordering, it is possible to turn off on POS under UI options like they mentioned or front of house. Special requests are tracked and viewable in menu breakdown report.
