Toast Kiosk Update

Hey Toast Community! 

We recently received an update on our self order kiosks and wanted to know if anyone is experiencing the same issues we're having. Here's what we're experiencing - 

  • Screen glitching when switching menus 
  • The "cart" is no longer updated as customers are adding menu items. Once the item is "added" then the cart updates
  • Kiosks frequently switching to a blue screen that reads "This device is not setup" 

Our self order kiosks are on of the main ways our customers order and we had very few issues before this update. Any tips? Thanks!

Care Team was able to assist me with my open ticket for this issue. EloView was fully disabled on the devices as a temporary fix as the team implements a permanent fix with elo view. 

Hi @Rob, we're still receiving the blue screen on our kiosks but it appears to be less frequent now. Any tips / fixes coming our way? Thank you.
