Toast Penny Elimination Rounding Option?

Hi Toast,

Can your team please start working on an option for the POS system to round to the nearest nickel in preparation for the penny elimination? I would like to enable something that benefits the store and can round cash transactions so we are not giving away funds every time someone makes a cash transaction. Any ideas? Thank you.

To answer your post, though, we are working on a solution to round to the nearest nickel, but I don't have a timeline to share yet. So far, we have pushed this article out as the best workaround for now. Configure Cash Rounding During Penny Phase Out

The current Toast solution is a joke.  We left Aloha and I miss the rounding function.  There should be 4 choices- 1) Amount to round to: $0.05, $0.10, etc., 2) Always round up, 3) Always round down, 4) round the the nearest.  Previously we rounded to the nearest nickel and in our last full year the total rounding amount was less than $10.

Hey there.  It has been two months since Toast has addressed this issue that is a problem for us every day.  If there is something that development is having an issue with in rounding to the nearest nickel, please let us know.  Give us an ETA, PLEASE....
