Can I just say how much I hate the current penny solution? A major part of our operation is a drive thru. Our process is to give the customer their total before sending them to the window. Since lthe rounding doesn't take effect until the payment is taken, we are telling cash customers the incorrect total. Then when they hand us cash we have to explain that thier total is actually different. While our customers are understanding, it seems like there should be one more option that automatically rounds regardless of payment type, and that the rounding occurs when I take the order, not the payment?
Am I expecting too much?
