Toast Penny Elimination Rounding Option?

Hi Toast,

Can your team please start working on an option for the POS system to round to the nearest nickel in preparation for the penny elimination? I would like to enable something that benefits the store and can round cash transactions so we are not giving away funds every time someone makes a cash transaction. Any ideas? Thank you.

To answer your post, though, we are working on a solution to round to the nearest nickel, but I don't have a timeline to share yet. So far, we have pushed this article out as the best workaround for now. Configure Cash Rounding During Penny Phase Out

That is great Rob.  I have 2 other systems in other businesses I oversee and they have a solution in play already.  No pressure but you are behind the curve my friend.  Time is of the essence,

Thanks for the feedback. Feel free to share the systems and/or how it's working! We do have some solutions now that I mentioned in the Pennies thread, but we are working on better solutions scheduled for April!

I have businesses with veriphone and aloha. All we need to do is call and they will activate when your business has pennies.

Are there any updates. Toast has been “working” on this option for several months now. Other POS providers have already rolled out automated solutions. How much longer will we have to wait, Toast?
