Toast flex for guest

• I currently have Toast flex and Toast flex for guest wedge and am wondering if there is a way I can make the wedge a direct attachment or is there something I need from toast to make this work?

I ran into the same issue because our staff at one location did not like the wedge. The response I got from my sales rep was that unfortunately the GFD provided with the wedge can't be directly attached on its own. Direct attach needs to be purchased as a whole unit. I wonder if this has changed. Have you tried reaching out to support to ask if they provide a way to convert the wedge GFD into a direct attach GFD?
