We’ve added new templates for restaurants using Toast Websites to choose from in the creation flow. This means you’ll have more options for the look and feel of your website!
In addition to giving our editor a fresh coat of paint, we’ve consolidated your site-wide style options so that you can immediately see the effects of your changes reflected on your site.

Restaurants configuring their Toast Tables reservations to require deposits can now take reservations through Toast Websites. There is no additional setup required for deposits to appear as part of the Websites Reservation widget, assuming you’ve already configured deposits for the Toast Tables reservations in general.
We’ve improved the Toast Websites editing experience by introducing two new interactions: 1. You can now drag a website mobile from the editor's lefthand sidebar into the editor's main body to add it to your website. 2. You can now click a module inside the main editor and drag and drop it within the editor to rearrange sections of your website.
Historically, we have required restaurants to connect a custom domain to their Toast Websites website to activate it and bring it live online. Now, to get started with your website quickly, you can activate a generic URL that's visible to the public and ready to use immediately. Note: Users who choose to do this will miss out on the benefits of a branded URL, including potential SEO impacts, and we still recommend connecting a custom domain to boost your marketing efforts and get the most from your website.

Previously, modifier groups appeared in an assorted order on banquet event orders (BEOs). With this new update, modifier groups appear in a consistent, alphabetical order.
Previously, lead form descriptions only supported plain text. With this update, we’ve added the ability for restaurants using Toast Catering and Events to include bold text, underlined text, large text, hyperlinks, bullet points, and numbered lists in the lead form description field.
At the bottom of an order or invoice, there is a history section that shows each action that has happened for a particular event. Now, we’ve added that same history section to leads so a restaurant manager can see when a lead was originally submitted.
Previously, if an order was paid, you couldn't edit an item on it. Changing the item would require a void and creating the item anew. Now, as a direct result of feedback we’ve heard from Toast Catering and Events customers, you can edit item quantity, modifiers, name, and price on open and paid Invoices and Catering Orders.
Email addresses are no longer required to create a lead in catering & events. Before this change, an email address was required to create a lead in the catering & events module. An email address is still required to convert a lead to an order.
We now support pairing a wireless Zebra or Honeywell Bluetooth scanner with your Toast handheld for smaller, more mobile retail setups.

To tip or not to tip?! Now you can choose. If guests should not be prompted with the tip selection screen as part of their checkout experience, select the back arrow in the top left corner of your screen > Device Setup > Disable tipping on this device. This is done on a per-device basis.

You will now see a new navigation setup within the retail module in Toast Web. This update replaces the old dropdown menu beneath the “Retail Dashboard” header. This improvement will help you jump between retail surfaces more easily and came from customer feedback about the dropdown being easily missed from the retail dashboard.
