Our latest KDS update lets you easily switch your display between English, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. This update makes it easier for you to comfortably run your business and communicate with your kitchen team however you prefer. You can switch the KDS language by selecting the language toggle on the KDS screen.
You can now download Kitchen Sheets! Similar to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), Kitchen Sheets give restaurants more control over how things look for different users, including the ability to omit fields that aren’t relevant to their kitchen staff (e.g., venue decor, event timeline, etc.)
Under prep tools within Catering & Events, users can now generate printable labels (2” x 4”). It’s possible to include labels at the order level, item level, and modifier level.
You can now add images, such as your restaurant/business logo, to your discussion signature to craft professional-looking emails for your catering operations. This can be configured in the discussions message editor.
Discussion & History for leads and orders have a fresh look and feel! Messages are now organized from oldest to most recent, and each user message can be collapsed individually. The Discussions inbox also features a wider layout with improved navigation.
Customers who use xtraCHEF for inventory management can now bulk edit item status, category, and products in the new Item Library.

Why did you move the "split" button to best it in the stacked menu? Now it takes two clicks instead of one. Also, we can't see tab names on handhelds (or add them) without going under the nested menu. That's going to be a challenge when my weekly party of 20-40 locals come for social hour together and all want separate checks. It's pretty annoying when things get moved and changed without so much as a heads up email so we have to spend time hunting down features we use all the time. Is there a way to go back to previous builds on our end? I genuinely can't imagine anyone wants to go hunting for basic info like a tab name.

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback we completely understand how important quick access to Split and tab names is during service, especially with large parties.
While reverting to a previous build isn’t possible, we’re committed to making sure the new layout feels just as fast and familiar. I will relay this feedback to the proper teams!

Can you put wording in the "KDS - Language Toggle" that clarifies that this is for the display and not the menu items on the tickets? It comes across as if it will translate your menu items, which it will not. Thanks!
