Do people think some form of text when systems are down would be useful?

Today was weird. Somehow, all POS systems were showing offline. When i headed back to the restaurant, noticed the power to Meraki was pulled back. This was so weird. Resulted in chaos: online orders backed up, the restaurant also got busy, and couldn't take orders on ToastTOGO.

Once I identified, things started flowing after a few minutes. Some Uber orders were duplicate orders with different confirmations, and the driver insisted they needed them both 🙂

I really think a way to get notified when operations are down would be a really nice feature. So we can jump ahead of time once this is noticed in the backend.

Good idea, they did recently add the device hub, good chance something like that might already be planned. Even just a push notification from the toast now app would be nice.
