To process a gift card payment from a TOAST egiftcard, you can follow these steps:
On the Toast POS, select the Payment button.
From the Payment screen, select the Gift Card payment method button.
Enter the 16-digit gift card number. You can key in, scan, or swipe the card with the card reader.
Select Apply.
Toast will verify the gift card number and balance.
If the gift card balance covers the total amount of the purchase, select Pay.
If the gift card balance does not cover the total amount of the purchase, you can select another payment method to cover the remaining balance.
Note: You can also process gift card payments for online orders. To do this, your customers will need to select the Pay with Gift Card checkbox at checkout and enter their gift card number.
