Happy hour and loyalty

I have happy hour set up as a discount for example 50% off wines on Wednesday. However I want guests to not be able to use loyalty rewards certificates to pay for these items. Is there a way to do this?

I think the only way you could do this is a separate menu/items for the wine special with the prices set to 50% using menu specific pricing rather than a discount, then set "can be discounted" to No. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Building-Happy-Hour-Menus-w-Menu-Specific-Pricing-14930044457...
