Modifiers

When building my menu modifiers, how do I make them so they are already highlighted because they are included in the item but the guests can remove them if they want. After searching through my local toast app, I can see different restaurants have it set up different ways. I don't want to get too far into my initial build and not have it corrected. Maybe there is an easy way to make them already included ingredients that can be removed versus having to add everything. Or maybe this is something I go over after I send my first initial menu build. Any help would be great thanks!

Hey! I have my mods set to default. See my Nacho modifier below. By doing this, a guest online or a server in house just has to unselect the option and it will fire to the kitchen saying "NO Pico" on its own.

This is exactly what I meant! So is there a way to do this from the initial roll-out. I guess I'm in the middle of my initial menu template build and was wondering if there was option on there or maybe the onboarding team adapts it accordingly. Like what does the google sheets template look like on that for the "default" modifiers. Thanks again! This is amazing I got a response that quickly...

Like the 5 items under included condiments are the ones I'm looking to set as defaultScreenshot 2024-05-14 185150.png

Not sure if you learn about Bluestack to run Android emulator that allows you to run toast app from your home computer. It's very helpful in the beginning of the menu setup process. Here is more information on that:
