On the new menu builder that just went live recently, it's possible to Remove an item. This is not Archive like in the advanced menu, it's a Remove button.
What I am seeing is that when I use this Remove button, the item disappears from the menus. But if you search in the menu item database it will show up there, however it is not marked Archived. And if you try to restore it, the system will complain that there's no archived items selected. Also, if you click it to view it; it actually shows up like it's still linked into the menu.
So in the end, it looks like just a unlinked database item that is now in limbo. It's not on the menu, but it's not archived either.
Anyone notice this? Is there a new workflow restore a Removed item?
