🚨I entered and approved employee TAFW / PTO. They didn't get paid for it.
I suspect it has something to do with the year cross-over and I'm concerned that there is a Toast Payroll bug or defect.
I'm posting here for input because the Toast Payroll Support person was making incorrect statements and is making light of the issue, rather than escalating and getting experts involved. It's most likely affecting other restaurants because I did not do anything too out-of-the-ordinary using Toast Payroll.
This is a big problem because we have employees not getting paid but also being docked on the accrued PTO, which is also lawfully required in many states.
If you use Toast Payroll, make sure your entered and approved PTO is effective. If you work for Toast, please escalate. I'm very dissatisfied with the misinformation I was getting from the Toast Payroll support person and the amount of time I'm having to spend dealing with frustrated employees and troubleshooting this Toast Payroll problem.
