I've had this feature with 2 prior POS's that I have used in the past. Aldelo (A PC based product) and Revel (Cloud and IOS based). Revel didn't have this feature when I first got engaged, but they fulfilled it a week before I went live. That was remarkable speed to support our request. I've waited for almost 2 years and I don't see this feature intercept yet.
I love Toast for many of its features which is why I moved to Toast, But I would still like this feature that improves operational efficiency in our Kitchen.
Look at the attachment. Every station would have any items being prepared in other stations. This is super useful for our workflow. Allows efficient communication between staff and make sure nothing is missed or overlooked.
Technically should be super easy to do it. The workaround suggested was to print all items in all stations, which is a huge bandaid and I'll be wasting soo much paper in every station.
Not sure if we have a way to rank them up top, so if you find this is useful, please mark it such so it can get noticed.
Ideally there is just one setting global, if we need this summary for the entire store, or better to be a per-printer setting if that summary is to be printed.

I would LOVE to see this too. Nice and concise but lets the server know what items the order is still waiting on.
