Looking for someone from xtraCHEF or for anyone that may know the answer,
we have multiple menus in the restaurant with some crossover items. We do lunch, brunch, dinner, and several tiers of special event menus out of the same kitchen. When we are mapping a recipe to pos buttons under product mix mapping and the same recipe is used on multiple menus, we are required to make a copy of the recipe for each button we need to map. This leads to a lot of clutter and if we make an adjustment to a recipe, we have to go in and change each copy. The modifier mapping section does not have this issue. We are able to map the same recipe to multiple modifiers and can even apply 1 recipe to an entire field of modifiers at once. Want to know if it is actually possible to map a singe recipe to multiple pos buttons or is it necessary to make a copy of the recipe for each button we map it to. And if it is necessary to make copies of recipes for mapping, is there something in the works to solve the issue?

Hey @jtb2112, I contacted my team; below is their answer!
"Yes - One recipe connects to one menu item, so if you have multiple identical menu items, they will need multiple identical recipes. Luckily the recipes can be copied!"
Let me know if you need further help!

If they are in different Menus in Toast, lunch versus dinner menu, you can have one recipe. If it appears twice in one menu under a different sub menus then multiple recipes are needed.
