Hi Toasties!
Has anyone else had pain points with third party apps speaking properly to the menu? We regularly sell 86ed items on third party apps and it is incredibly frustrating to our team. We have to problem solve and try to track down the customer information which Toast does not provide directly. The quantity in the Stock count goes negative on Toast which I've been told too many times by Toast customer service reps that they've "never heard of." The response I have eventually gotten from them is that the acceptable timeframe for menu updates to speak to third party apps is 4-12 hours which is disheartening and comical. The promise of seamless integration just feels like a stretch with all this. My team now manually contacts third party apps to 86 items OR marks them as invisible on third parties through Toast. Ridiculous. Any help is appreciated!

It seems you had a post about similar issue 6 weeks ago. I'm sorry you haven't been able to resolve the problem. If you had your menu items all set up correctly, the seamless integration with Doordash and UberEats should work. Grubhub may take longer time to sync with Toast but I believe Toast is working on it. However, if your customers place an order by "re-ordering" from their order history, their order will still go through even if items on their order have been 86'ed.
