Why is reservations and wait-list not available on the POS

It is very frustrating that our waitresses and bartenders cannot see or make reservations..

We don't have hostesses especially not every night. We also don't give everyone a log in to toast back end.

We get a lot of calls for reservations that any employees may field.

How is everyone who doesn't have hosts or managers always available handling reservations?!?

we didn't sign up for reservations yet but i'd be in the same boat and want anyone to be able to take reservations and not have access to the backend.  are reservations made on the terminal? our current system we use an ipad so would hope toast has that option as well...  Hope you get it figured out

I believe the tables app is supposed to eventually run on the terminals. How do your hosts make the reservations now? Can you not just take the iPad or tablet they use behind the bar when you don't have a host.
