Pre Authorization Isn't Saving Guest Name

We have 3 registers. 2 Work just fine when starting a tab. One of them, you can preauthorize and start a tab but a name does not record on the tab.I can't seem to figure this out. Does it have to do with enabling EMV?Thank you!

We just have a swipe feature on the computers, so dip isn't able to start a tab. Swiping is the only option.
