I have recently been requested to lead our team selling Bottles, Cocktails & Merchandise. I am trying to institute some feedback to those working to be focused on the goal going forward. I am having a difficult time pulling a report that is successful in demonstrating areas to focus for growth. I do have pretty good skils with figuring out systems but I need a bit of a boost please.
The data within Toast I believe contains what I need, I just do not know how to achieve my desired outcome.
I need to understand how in the reports I can get a summary of three different categories of items sold but have those categories subtotaled and well as a grand total. Is there a stock report or do I need to do that in excel?
Being new, I decided to reach out to the suport team as I want to break out from the previous practices from people who may have a personal agenda internally.

You could do it with the product mix by filtering the categories you want, then download excel file, and calculate sums in excel. But I would just use Toast IQ to do this for you, will be a lot easier and faster.
