Does anyone know if there is currently an available option to make seat order invisible to the kitchen tickets (or KDS)?
For example, we are a full service restaurant and I want the servers to be able to assign seats to all guests during the order taking process but when they hit 'send' I want the entire ticket to show accumulators on the kitchen print out. It would be like this:
On the servers handheld:
Table 201:
Seat 1: Cheeseburger, Regular Fry, Clam Chowder
Seat 2: Cheeseburger, Cajun Fry, Clam Chowder
On Kitchen Print out:
Table 201:
2 Cheeseburger
2 Clam Chowder
1 Regular Fry
1 Cajun
* If this option does not yet exist, is there a way to request to Toast programming for a Beta option?
