Does anyone have any recommendations on what is a good report to use to get the info needed to make a monthly Payroll Accrual journal entry in our Accounting Software? When we were running Payroll in Quickbooks I typically just used the Payroll Summary Report and was able to pull the Gross Wages and Tips and then plug that into our spreadsheet we have setup to record the Accrual amounts. I have been using the Journal Entry Report in Toast to get the Gross Salaries & Wages and the Tips Payable but wasn't sure if there was a better report or better method overall to make the Accrual Entry in Quickbooks. It would think that since the Payroll is getting done in the same program as the POS there would be an easy way to figure out the Accrual amount but as of now I haven't been able to find anything?
