POS Codes not matching on WISK

Hello

My modifier codes do not match up in WISK (inventory Software) under the POS Codes.

As it stands I have 10 buttons Labeled 5oz but no way to link the recipe to the button in Toast.

Incase that was not clear, the 10, 5oz buttons POS code don't seem to link to any codes in Toast, so I have no way of telling which bottles these should be drawing from.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

When dealing with issues related to mismatched modifier codes in WISK, particularly when trying to link recipes to buttons in Toast POS, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Steps to Resolve Mismatched Modifier Codes

  1. Verify POS Item Mapping:
    • Ensure that the POS items in WISK are correctly mapped to the corresponding items in Toast. This involves checking that the POS codes in WISK match those in Toast. You can view and manage your POS items through the WISK Web Portal.
  2. Check for Archived or Missing Items:
    • If some POS items are not appearing or are mismatched, check if they have been archived or deleted in WISK. Archived items might not show up in your active inventory, and permanently deleted items cannot be restored without contacting support.
  3. Create or Update Modifier Groups:
    • If the issue is related to modifiers, ensure that you have created and properly configured modifier groups and options in Toast. This can help in managing inventory and linking the correct recipes to the right POS buttons.
  4. Batch Creation and Management:
    • Consider creating batches or sub-recipes for items that are used across multiple menu items. This can simplify the mapping process by allowing you to update a single batch rather than multiple individual items.
  5. Manual Refresh of Sales Data:
    • Sometimes, sales data discrepancies can cause issues with mapping. Manually refreshing the sales data in WISK can help ensure that the latest information is being used for mapping.
  6. Integration and Support:
    • Ensure that the integration between Toast and WISK is correctly set up. If there are persistent issues, contacting WISK support or your POS provider might be necessary to resolve any underlying integration problems

Let me know if at all helpful.

Thx!
