random clock in/out?

on thanksgiving i had an employee who was not at work but somehow clocked in and out conveniently around the time he was supposed to be working. no other employees would have clocked him in or out, and he claims he didn't do it. could there be a ghost in toast?

just golf course maintenance , no orders, just clock in/out and lunch break.

Yeah I don't know about ghosts but maybe someone trying to cover after getting caught, or someone with a similar number making a mistake. I wonder if support can see more details about the time punches like which device they were on, that would be helpful and could be compared to security footage if it was available.

im thinking more toward the cover after getting caught but there is no way to prove it with no cameras.
