I am wanting to compare specific menu items sales with an hourly breakdown over a set period of time.
I want to argue hiring a barista v. bartender for morning service, so I want to view our sales over the past 30 days by each item, broken down by the hour. With that info I'll have solid data on coffees v. cocktails.
Can't figure it out in reports. thanks.

Under filters in new report, can also use day parts if you have them setup

Thanks for reaching out to community! I think this is how to get the info you need. Let me know if you have questions!
To compare specific menu items' sales with an hourly breakdown over a set period of time, you can use the Menu Reports.
1. Navigate to **Reports** in Toast Web.
2. Select **Menus** and then **Product Mix**.
3. Choose the desired **date range** for the past 30 days.
4. Use the **All Hours** drop-down menu to view sales data for specific hours within a day.
5. Filter the report to focus on the specific items you want to compare, such as coffees and cocktails.

Thank you for that info. I'm now seeing why I couldn't find that. To my eyes, you can only do this in the old Product Mix, not in the New version. All Hours doesn't seem to exist in New Product Mix.

Again, my appreciation for taking the time. Since I am trying to show (for example) 8am v 9am v 10am...I can't do that with a preset option in reports, but I could run the 8am report, then run the 9am report...etc. Ultimately doing that in an excel download would let me manipulate into the pretty little graph that the boss will want 🙂
