scam!!!    heads up managers   I just got a call someone  asking for a manager and saying they are from toast and said something is wrong with system  and want me  to shared screen  i did no anything  i just say you are not toast   !let me call you then and hang up

Something similar happens with Door Dash. I get calls all the time from scammers trying to gain access to our Door Dash account.

Also be careful of fake/phishing emails pretending to be from Instagram and Facebook, saying something is wrong with your account and asking you to click a fake login button to fix it.

Thanks so much for sharing this! You did exactly the right thing by hanging up and not sharing your screen. Toast will never call and ask to remotely access your computer, request passwords, or ask you to share your screen without a verified support session initiated by you.

If anyone ever claims to be from Toast and you’re unsure, always end the call and reach out directly through official channels!
